A long-tailed squirrel cupping a maple leaf, right? On that note, it took me sixteen years of frequenting Yorkdale before I could recognize a bonafide letter "B" in the insignia of the Hudson Bay Company.
The Bay's logo always looks like a gigantic yellow bow to me. As for this particular puzzle, I've never been able to recognize the "D" at first glance. Backwards G? A weird sort of Q? What is it with old-school Canadian retail and these mystifying characters? Definitely a kick-ass topic for a first-year semiotics paper, if only I had need for such a thing.
